Summary Offences

Summary offences usually involve less serious allegations such as traffic offences and are finalised in the Local Court by a Magistrate alone. However repercussions following conviction can be very serious so it is important that you have expert advice and representation.

In NSW, summary offences have a maximum penalty of two years imprisonment such as:

  • Marijuana possession
  • Malicious damage of property
  • Offensive behaviour
  • Custody of a knife
  • Drink driving offences

At Lenz Legal our mission is to help individuals charged with offences. We are advocates who appear daily in the Local Court, fearlessly protecting our clients’ interests.
